the best diet is eating healthy combined with exercise. i know its cliche, but fad diets are bad for you. sure you’ll lose weight, but they aren’t the best choice. dr. atkins died of heart problems.
i’m 18 and my start weight was 167 last sunday.
i am now 158 but eating a lot of fruits and veggies along with some thin sliced whole grain/whole wheat bread and lean meats like chicken and turkey.
its the first time in my life where i’ve ever wanted to stick to a diet.
i’m feeling better about myself every day
just do research on what you should be eating everyday. and its all about PORTION CONTROL!!!
eat when your hungry, eat until your full.
your body has its natural cues.
pretend your body is a machine/car and you are simply providing it with fuel. this will help you to not consume empty calories.

first of all i would like to say theres nothing wrong with you. secondly no diet works. because diets dont give you the nutrients that are needed for a girl your age. and lastly, girls your age should not be consumed by how they look. when girls at your age start dieting the chances of them becoming anorexic or bulimic is higher than those who are older. so my advice is to work out and exercise and eat healthy, dont diet just eat healthy. =]

Start trying to get in 30 minutes or more of physical activity a day, even if it is walking.
